John B. Smith – Vice President/Estimator – Project Manager
Johnny Smith joined the Stewart Electric Team in May of 1982. Johnny progressed through the ranks at Stewart Electric receiving specialty training in electrical construction and project management through the ABC Construction Management Certification Program, a four-year course.
Johnny has 27 years of experience in the electrical field and understands the complete process of installation and servicing of electrical systems. This understanding enables Mr. Smith in the estimating, installation and purchasing process enhancing his Project Management abilities.
Johnny has been the manager over Stewart Electric Co., Inc.’s Hospital and Medical facility projects and other commercial construction. Crestwood Hospital expansion and renovation projects, the Huntsville Surgery Center building and the Dialysis Center have been some critical projects performed by Mr. Smith and his construction team. Johnny Smith’s team recently won the Project of the Year award in the ABC Excellence In Construction for the North Alabama Chapter for the excellent job performed at the Huntsville Surgery center.
